E.B Orchids started as a living-room hobby in 2019. Emily, owner and founder, started a collection in her home and found she had a talent for growing orchids - the collection quickly started to outgrow the space and moved into a tent in her mudroom, and then most recently to a small greenhouse near her home where E.B. Orchids is planting its roots.

Orchids and plants are now a staple in Emily's life - they connect her to nature, herself, and to a community. She's found that caring for plants teaches patience, acceptance, letting go, and the importance of routine - but most of all, spending her time caring for her orchids brings her so much peace.

Emily founded E.B. Orchids to make unique orchids accessible, welcome a community of plant lovers, and pursue a courageous new chapter in her life around her love of nature and plants.

Emily welcomes new enthusiasts to the orchid hobby and hopes you will enjoy it as much as she does!

Emily is also a member of the Genesee Region Orchid Society (GROS) in Rochester, NY where she participates in community events such as the organization's annual Orchid Show.
