Maxillaria valenzuela
Maxillaria valenzuela
A very unique species native to Latin America and South America. The plant's foliage closely resembles a succulent with flat, pointed leaves.
This species grows in wet forests and will do best with consistent moisture at the roots (but not waterlogged) and grown in sphagnum moss. Water these just as the media is approaching dryness but do not allow to dry out completely.
Flowers are bright yellow and emerge from various points between the leaves. Flowering time can vary throughout the year.
Blooming size plants in 2" pots.
