Brassavola martiana 'Mint Mist' AM/AOS x self
Brassavola martiana 'Mint Mist' AM/AOS x self
This Brazilian species was first recorded in 1836, during the height of orchid exploration in the Victorian era - sometimes referred to as the "Orchidelirium".
It's an uncommon species to be offered in cultivation.
Plants grow similarly to the well-known Brassavola nodosa (in the same family), and as such the flowers are similar with a green and white coloration and wispy petals. Like other Brassavola, the flowers are fragrant at night!
Offered as seedlings in 2" pots.
