Bulbophyllum maxillare

A colorful species native to rainforests across Southeast Asia that features a red, orange, and white bloom named for its resemblance to a jaw-like structure (maxillare comes from the Latin word maxilla meaning jaw).

It thrives in humid, warm conditions and tends to like brighter light than other bulbophyllum. Keep in indirect light away from direct sunlight, and keep the media evenly moist, keeping it from drying completely.

These are blooming size plants in 3" pots.
