Cattleya aclandiae 4N
Cattleya aclandiae 4N
This is considered a miniature Cattleya - it rarely exceeds 5" tall.
This bifoliate Cattleya features show-stopping, waxy flowers that are intensely fragrant! The petals are a lime green to tan with dark red-brown spots and the lip is hot pink and fan shaped.
This cultivar features much more pronounced dark spots and a very wide lip. This is a 4N cross and all plants in the batch will also be 4N - they will be more vigorous and robust growing plants with larger flowers.
These plants require very bright light (up to full sun) to flower well, and do well with lots of air flow, high humidity, and warm temps. Mature plants will do very well mounted and watered daily. If potted, make sure to water only when media is near dry, reduce watering in the fall.
These are seedlings, 2-3 years from blooming size, growing in 2" clay pots.
