Coelogyne mayeriana
Coelogyne mayeriana
A captivating species from Southeast Asia well known for its bright, apple-green flowers with crisp black markings in the lip.
These plants can grow quite large and tend to ramble with long rhizomes (sometimes 4-6 inches between pseudobulbs). They will do best in warm conditions with moderate light and kept moist (do not let it dry completely).
The flowers bloom between spring, summer, and fall, are also sweetly fragrant - some describe the scent akin to melons and tropical fruits.
These are blooming size plants in 4" pots.
