Dendrobium findlayanum
Dendrobium findlayanum
This species is native to Thailand and SE Asia. It produces 12" to 20" canes that have multiple, slightly flattened sections that look like a string of beads. Leaves are deciduous and flowers bloom in spring-time. Flowers are fragrant and appear with light lavender and white on the petals, and have a distinct orange patch in the lip.
Blooming size plants (pictured first) are established in 3" pots.
We have just potted and mounted some of the original plant's keikis - we have a few in 2" and 3" pots and a few mounted.
Keikis are not blooming size plants, care for them as if they were seedlings.
