Dendrobium Roy Tokunaga
Dendrobium Roy Tokunaga
This latouria type Dendrobium is a classic primary cross (Dendrobium atroviolaceum x johnsoniae) that produces a fragrant cream-white flower with dark plum color markings in the lip.
These are known to be vigorous growers and can bloom up to twice per year! Some growers have also reported that blooms have lasted between 3-6 months at a time.
Water these plants just when the media is drying and grow in moderate light - more than a Phal but less than a Cattleya. These plants do not need a dry winter rest like other Dendrobium section plants, keep watering schedule consisent throughout the year.
Intermediate seedlings in 2" pots, should be blooming size in about 2 years.
