Dendrobium unicum
Dendrobium unicum
This unique species is native to Thailand and Laos and produces bright orange flowers on bare canes that are also sweetly fragrant!
The flowers are nonresupinate meaning that the lip stays on the top of the open flower and appears "upside down", rather than on the bottom ("right-side up") like most other orchids.
Water thoroughly in the spring and summer during active growth and reduce watering and stop fertilizing in the fall through winter. Plants do well in moderate lighting and kept in intermediate-warm temperatures.
Blooming size plants in 3" baskets. In bud/blooming now!
