Laelia anceps f. semi alba 'Ileana'

This species is truly a great orchid for any collector - it is a hardy plant native to Mexico that is drought resistant and can tolerate temperature extremes, tolerating cool temps down to 32F! 

It flowers on very long spikes that can reach upwards of 2ft long, with clusters of 2 to 5 flowers. This form is a semi alba and will show a beautiful lavender purple on the lip with white-cream petals, as well as the classic yellow inner lip. Flowers are also strongly fragrant!

Plants will grow quickly, and can be acclimated to full sun. They will need a lot of bright light in order to bloom, and thus may struggle to bloom if placed indoors without supplemental light from LEDs.
