Paphiopedilum insigne

This species is native to India, Nepal, and the Northern Yunnan Province of China where it tends to grow on limestone outcrops. It grows in cool to intermediate temperatures and shaded indirect lighting. It can tolerate warmer temps, but prefers a range below 85F. 

You'll see this species flower during the winter with waxy flowers of yellow, brown, white and soft pink, with spots and marking on the petals and sepal.
