Paphiopedilum spicerianum x sib
Paphiopedilum spicerianum x sib
A unique species native to India, Burma, and Southern China. Flowers are brown and green with a white dorsal sepal that features a striking magenta stripe down the center.
They grow in damp, temperate areas where temps can dip down to 40F in winter but reach up to 90F during the summer - these plants are temperature tolerant on both extremes!
It's a very easy species to grow and stays relatively compact. Give lightly shaded light and keep evenly moist.
This species is part of a section of Paphiopedilums that has thinner, more delicate roots than other Paphs, and an overall small stature.
These are blooming size plants, recently potted in 2" pots.
