Phalaenopsis Corning-Cervi
Phalaenopsis Corning-Cervi
(Phalaenopsis cornu-cervi var. chattaladae x Phalaenopsis corningiana)
A primary cross that blooms with intense red flowers with faint stripes in the petals. The flowers are glossy and waxy, and have a sweet fragrance.
Like many Phalaenopsis species, the spike can rebloom and both parent species are well-known for this phenomena - don't cut the flower spikes after the blooms drop (unless it turns brown/dry).
These plants will grow best in moderately shaded light and in baskets with sphagnum moss, and kept warm to hot (75-85F).
These are first year blooming plants, they should spike within the next 10-12 months, growing in 2" pots.
