Phalaenopsis japonica

A cooler growing phalaenopsis that is native to Japan, Korea, and parts of China. 

Keep plants above 50F, especially if wet, and provide shaded conditions. These plants do adapt to warmer conditions and will do well in ambient temps in the home!

For best blooming, allow a temperature drop down into the 50s (F) for a few weeks during the fall/winter months - temperature dips induce flowering!

Plants will do well potted or mounted, and kept lightly moist, watering just when the media approaches dryness. 

Near blooming size plants (1-2 years) in 2" pots.
