Pseudolaelia irwiniana (syn. blahae)

A very rare species native the Minas Gerais region of Brazil, it is found growing epiphytically and lithophytically in nature (growing on plants or on rocks/outcrops). 

These plants require very bright light, some have been found growing and blooming in full sun. Without the bright light, they may not bloom or will produce fewer flowers. 

Like many Laelias from this region of Brazil, these plants grow in cool-intermediate conditions, however these plants are known to be tolerant of extremes and do favor the warm end of their range. 

Water thoroughly, but allow them to dry completely between watering. They do best mounted! 
Give a drier and cooler rest in the fall and winter. 

These are seedling plants, they are about 2 years to blooming size. Growing in 2" net pots.
